What's up with the timing on format changes: Buzznet, Flickr & .mac mail - all at same time?
What's with the flurry of "format changes" for my online sites? First was Buzznet - new and "streamlined", yesterday Flickr changed all sorts of things, and today my Apple .mac mail format was totally revamped. I have information overload for learning new systems all at once!

Hearing the conductor saying "Last stop! Last station! Last chance!" woke up Zoe from her frighteningly surrealistic daydream and she returned to the "here and now" where she was in Real Life again. "Mr. Conductor Man" noticed that Zoe had been staring intently at "Ms. Marble Statue" woman for a long period of time- at least as long as he had been staring at Zoe. He began to wonder what Zoe was thinking, then said to himself "you can never tell what a woman is thinking because she changes her mind so often!"
Slowly surveying the current reality scene, Zoe also saw that superfine-dressed lady/mother with a marble stone mask face and the skinny kid. She wondered if she would end up like that - outwardly emanating stark coldness like a marble Grecian statue. Zoe doubted that she would ever her have a child like that scrawny boy with the stone-faced mother. She knew that she was never cut out to be a mother because she was so self-centered and her wants and needs always came first. She had enough problems dealing with Joel, who was a bully, and also acted like a pouty kid at times. She started to wonder what ever attracted her to him in the first place and was having a serious debate with herself about breaking up with Joel because of his jealousy and raging outbursts.
Mr. Conductor Man was now back to paying attention to his job after having had enough of people-watching for right now. He would see “Ms. Marble Statue” again tomorrow at the same time and at the same station stop. He started singing: "I've been working on the railroad / all the livelong day / I've been working on the railroad /just to pass the time away". He loved that song and he felt happy when he sang it. Today he was actually singing it out loud and he didn't care if anyone heard him.
Zoe had heard Mr. Conductor Man singing and wished that she could be happy enough to be singing on a job. Zoe had trouble even holding down a job because her mind wandered so much. Many times she had been told "What's the matter, do you have "A.D.D.?" (Attention Deficit Disorder). It happened so much lately that she started to believe it herself. Then it became easy to tell people: "I have A.D.D." whenever she turned up really late for a lunch date, or didn't return telephone calls to people that she told "I'll call you back later". She never, ever did call them back.
And she never apologized to anyone, because that would be admitting that she knew what she was doing all along - being rudely obnoxious and getting away with it. Her friends finally started seeing through her "A.D.D. excuses" and started "unfriending" Zoe from their friends lists on Facebook and blocking her on Twitter.
The last time that Zoe actually talked to Joel was on the day that she hurriedly told him on the phone that she was having lunch at Bistro Q. with a "family member" and that she had to leave and didn't have time to explain because was running late (as usual). Joel only knew that Zoe had a sister who lived in San Francisco. Why couldn’t she explain who this “family member” was? He was suspicious, so of course he had to go to Bistro Q. to spy on her. He called his good friend, Andre, the sous-chef, at Bistro Q. who suggested that Joel enter from the restaurant kitchen's back door in the alley, and that Joel could spy on Zoe from the glass porthole in one of the kitchen's swinging doors.
When Joel got to the restaurant’s kitchen he peeked through the door porthole and saw an extraordinarily gorgeous guy laughing at something Zoe had said. Joel immediately thought that Zoe might be having a fling with The Hunk. Which of course made him feel more insecure than ever about his own acne, pockmarked face (which he tried to cover up by wearing a beard). But somehow his scraggly beard never really grew, and instead drew more attention to his unsightly jagged scars, which made him even more insecure about his relationship with Zoe.
Joel couldn't restrain himself when he saw that Zoe had given The Hunk a quickly scribbled handwritten note then got up and hugged The Hunk who then gave her a kiss on the lips. Joel became immediately enraged, picked up a nearby meat cleaver on a kitchen counter and pushed himself through the kitchen door, swearing and wildly swinging the cleaver in the air.
One of the diners seated near the kitchen door was startled by the slamming of the kitchen door against the wall, and Joel’s rapid-fire swear words. He felt the “swoosh” wind created by the swinging of the cleaver. After Joel was past him he quickly pulled out his cell phone to call the police.
Zoe started screaming when she saw Joel heading toward her with the cleaver flailing in the air. The good looking guy she was having lunch with was her soon-to-be brother-in-law who had been pumping her for advice for a wedding gift for Zoe’s sister. He left hurriedly to escape Joel, and accidentally dropped her scribbled gift ideas note when he ran to the front of the restaurant, leaving Zoe to fend for herself. Zoe decided that she needed to make a stand once and for all to end Joel’s bullying and stopped Joel cold in his tracks when she loudly yelled at Joel - “That’s it - we are through, finished, kaput” and she stormed out of the restaurant.
Everyone in the restaurant was now paying rapt attention to all of the commotion. Two undercover cops happened to be in the dining room on a drug surveillance stakeout. One cop came up silently behind Joel, got him in a choke hold and Joel quickly dropped the cleaver. He was then handcuffed and taken away.
Zoe never knew what had happened after she left the restaurant. Her mind has been muddled since she and Joel had that last big fight that drove them apart and started her on a nx crying jag and riding the train endlessly. Her question is “what’s next”?

OMG I can't believe the numbers! There have been 38,493 visits / views on my Buzznet Journal posting: "How did you meet your spouse, significant other,?". LINK http://artsysf.buzznet.com/user/journal/14451/
The reason I was checking on my Buzznet Journal postings is because I may be adding a blog on Facebook. I haven't looked at my Journals here for ages. Today I deleted almost all of my Buzznet Journals.
When I got to "How did you meet your spouse, significant other,?" posting I nearly fell off of my chair when I saw the numbers 38,493.
So, obviously I couldn't delete a Journal with that many views, or delete the wonderful responses that people shared how they met their spouse, partner, or significant other. The question was posted was in March 2006. I did not expect such a responsive viewing audience! I will KEEP that Journal posting for sure!
Thanks for all of your views and for people sharing their stories of how they met !
